Started by a Kid Who Wanted to Help
Little Blessing Bags was founded by a young person who saw a real need in their community and decided to do something about it. After learning that many students — especially children escaping domestic violence or facing housing instability — show up to school without basic supplies, the mission became clear.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a community movement. We assemble backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing, and snacks, then work with local schools to get them directly into the hands of students who need them most.
We currently serve students across 14 schools in our community — from kindergarten through 12th grade — because children don't outgrow the need for support.

Students at Every Level
We serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade because hardship doesn't stop at a certain age. By partnering with schools at every level, we ensure no student is left behind. Our 14 partner schools include 8 elementary, 3 middle, and 3 high schools — all selected for where need is greatest.
How It Works
From your donation to a student's hands — here's how we make every bag possible.
Collect
We gather donations of backpacks and supplies from generous community members, businesses, and schools.
Assemble
Volunteers come together to carefully pack each bag — including a handwritten note of hope inside every one.
Distribute
We partner with school counselors to deliver bags directly to the students who need them most, with care and dignity.
